Timeshare, like most other things in life, can cease to be as useful or enjoyable as it once was. The good thing about a Timeshare, as opposed to other types of holidays, is that when you have all your great holidays out of it you can sell it and recoup at least some of your initial outlay.

In deciding if and how to sell your Timeshare week there are a number of factors to consider. We hope that you will find the following information useful.

• It can be wise to choose a Timeshare Resale company that does not ask for any money up front to register your week. At The H.A.P.P.Y Holiday Shop we do not consider that we have earned anything until your week is sold.

• Put a realistic price on your Timeshare week. If you ask too much for your property it won't just take longer to sell - it will probably never sell! If you need advice on the actual market value of your week then ask us and if we don't know we'll find out. Because we don't charge any up front fees, it is not in our interest to suggest an unrealistic price for your Timeshare. Again, be wary of anyone who promises you a very high sale price but asks for money before a sale is completed.

• Because of the location of our shop in the town square in Aberfeldy, we believe that we are in the perfect location to assist you to sell your Timeshare. The great majority of the Timeshare resorts in Scotland are within an hours drive of us and many of them are on our doorstep. That, combined with this website and our sister shop in Aberfoyle, means that more people will become aware of your week than by any other method of selling.

• We are flexible about how we market your Timeshare property for you. Depending on what you are selling and what your priorities are, we can either take a percentage commission on the completion of any sale or, if you have a set figure in mind, we can fix that price when you register with us and make sure that we get that sum for you when we sell your week.
